JOB REQUIREMENTS: Human Resources Generalist (180000ZK) Specific Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Work is typically performed under minimal daily supervision, receiving guidance from manager/supervisor about the work that needs to be completed. 2. Ability to exercise a high level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks. 3. Responsible for guidance to all employees to ensure consistent adherence to HR policies, procedures, and practices. 4. Responsible for proactive employee relations, communication support, and internal management consultation as they related to the Human Resource function. 5. Effectively support and foster the company's Open Door Policy. 6. Administer the employment function, which includes recruiting and screening of applicants, facilitating the use of any temporary employment agencies and managing the job posting system for internal/external candidates in accordance with company and legal guidelines. 7. Assist in the development and implementation of all Strategic HR management programs (i.e. employee involvement, hiring, promotional practices, wages structures, and proactive employee relations). 8. Coordinate, facilitate, and/or assist in all training activities within the facility (i.e. orientation programs and training system). 9. Provide prompt and accurate guidance to employees regarding all benefit programs including timely orientation programs. 10. Enters or codes various payroll transactions such as time worked data into automated or manual information systems. 11. Review payroll documents for compliance with policies and procedures. 12. Review, process, interpret, and maintain proper documentation for additions, changes, or deletions to the payroll database. 13. Verifies and updates centralized pay control file. 14. Review and verify payroll documents for compliance with policies and procedures. 15. Maintain all personnel records in accordance with EEO, privacy, and related requirements. 16. Advise Management Team regarding prompt and accurate completion of all status changes. 17. Promote working together with all departments to build continual improvement within the company. 18. Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned. Minimum of three (3) years Human Resource experience with at least two (2) of those in a manufacturing environment.
