We are seeking HR Generalist. *Summary:Fulcrum is currently looking for a HR Generalist. The position will assist the VP of HR with the processing of New Hires, answering employee questions, conducting New Hire Orientations, Benefits Open Enrollment, Employee Verifications, and Drafting Policies & Procedures and maintaining personnel records. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of new employee offers and welcome letters.

  • Preparation and presentation of monthly New Hire Orientation program.

  • Implementation and administration of employee benefits programs.

  • Implementation of Performance Management program.

  • Preparation and processing of employee terminations.

  • Conducts exit interview, analyzes data and make recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement.

  • Preparation of unemployment insurance claims.

  • Maintenance of employee records including Cost Point, ADP and Excel databases.

  • Provide HR support to employees regarding policy, benefits and payroll questions.

  • Keep apprised of all legal updates and ensure legal compliance with EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, ERISA and other state and federal employment laws.

  • Coordination of employee Leave of Absences. (STD claims/ FMLA notices)

  • Assist with Employee Relations issues.

  • Maintains and coordinate employee recognition programs.

  • Completion of employment verifications from outside agencies.

  • Coordinating with outside special investigators regarding security clearance checks.

  • Process workers' compensation claims.

  • Prepare EEO-1/Affirmative Action/Vets-100A report data.

  • Provides assistance to the VP of HR with data/reporting requests.

  • Other duties may be assigned, as necessary. Minimum Requirements:

  • Four (4+) plus years of related experience in HR required

  • HS Diploma; Bachelor’s degree required

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Ability to Obtain a Secret or Top Secret Clearance

  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity

  • Ability to work with limited supervision and high motivation

  • Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.

Desired or Preferred Qualifications:

  • PHR or SPHR-CP Certification is desired

  • Active Secret or Top Secret is strongly desired

  • ADP Workforce Now experience is desired

  • E-Verify experience is desired

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have the Ability to Obtain a Secret or Top Secret Clearance
