Randstad is currently looking for HR specialists to provide general staffing support and services to the employees in a manufacturing and sales function.This is an Entry level position with requested administrative experience, you will be filing, creating personnel files and on boarding. Pre-screening/recruiting and interviewing potential new hires will be possible as well. You will assist managers in identifying staffing needs, as well as a payroll liaison between associates and Payroll Department. And assist on projects as needed.
Job responsibilities as follows:
Interpret and apply government laws and regulations, as well as corporate policies.
Implement effective Employee Relations programs.
Assist with associate event planning
Investigate and prepare responses to personnel related complaints, lawsuits and charges.
Submit and maintain all reports that pertain to HR, safety and risk.
Administer Benefits Open Enrollment process.
1-9's, invoices, and answering general HR questions.
Maintain accurate records of hires, terminations, promotions, transfers and incidents.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to enter data into HRIS system accurately with minimal errors
Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Interpersonal verbal and written skills.
1-3 years HR experience with manufacturing and sales environment a plus
Prior experience in a union environment.
Associates Degree in Human Relations or related field.
