The HR Generalist is expected to be a strategic business partner for talent development, talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations and HR compliance. In addition to having strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees throughout the organization, a successful candidate will need to be courageous, influential, trustworthy, genuine, passionate, adaptable, proactive, and tenacious.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

+ Building solid relationships with site leadership, HR team and employees

n

+ Building culture and capability through coaching others in their understanding and application of Koch's unique management philosophy, Market Based Management

n

+ Internalizing the site vision & initiatives and helping others do the same to generate alignment and value creation

n

+ Continuously advancing the company?s talent position through partnering, analyzing and strategic planning

n

+ Identifying talent gaps (individually and organizationally) that are obstacles to superior results and coaching leaders on the development of gap closure plans

n

+ Identifying HR compliance risks and executing plans to address thoserisks

n

+ Resolving employee relations issues and using each opportunity to understand the true root cause and develop a plan to resolve the root cause

+ Driving innovation

What You Will Need:

nBasic Qualifications:

nn


+ 5+ years? experience in an HR role

n

+ Experience with general employee relations concepts such as talent acquisition, talent development, and talent management

n

+ General knowledge of employment law

n

+ Dem nstrated ability to influence at all levels

n

+ Demonstrated ability to quickly build business partner relationships

n

+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize and get results

n

+ Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality with sensitive information

n

+ Demonstrated analytical thinking ability

n

+ Demonstrated ability to determine root cause and solve associated problems

n

+ Demonstrated ability and willingness to leverage technology to better partner with your business

n

+ Bachelor?s Degree OR 5+ years' equivalent business experience
