SUPERIOR TECHNICAL HR Generalist in Everett, Washington

TECT Aerospace manufactures complex aerostructure components, parts and assemblies from the full spectrum of traditional and aerospace alloys. We specialize in complex, structural and mechanical assemblies and machined components fabrication for countless aerospace applications. TECT Aerospace is a business unit of TECT Corporation; a family of privately held, independently managed aerospace companies. Scope: Focal for payroll for Pacific Northwest sites. Submits payroll and other transactions to local accounting and corporate human resources Interprets, applies and enforces compliance with all company policies as defined by employment laws and regulations. Manages and leads employee issue resolution at the Everett, WA, location Maintains compliance with FMLA, focal for FMLA paperwork, tracking and response to employees. Prepares monthly corporate headcount, safety, turnover reports. Administers, records and tracks all workers compensation claims and maintains compliance with Labor & Industries (LNI) regulations. Maintains OSHA logs and produces OSHA reports. Participates in site Safety Committees. Provides TECT Aerospace data for compensation surveys. Assists with hourly and salaried staffing/recruiting from interview through job offer/acceptance. Maintains the training database. Establishes and maintains relationships with providers of hourly and technical recruiting, including traditional and non-traditional staffing sources. Develops and administers training as required by Director, Human Resources Supports the planning and execution of employee relations activities including retirement parties, holiday parties, employee recognition, cookouts, service award program, etc. Provides departmental support in the absence of other HR personnel as required Assist Director, Human Resources as required, and participates in reporting and department projects as needed. Preferred degrees include Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration. Minimum of 5 years HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing background. SHRM certification a plus.
