This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Position Summary The Human Resources Generalist I will assist with daily Human Resources (HR) initiatives and tasks with the ability to support HR Function processes, policies and procedures. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions Statement:Assist with new hire orientation by creating and sending calendar invites, maintaining new hire packets and data entry of employee information into Human Resources Information System (HRIS).Maintain employee personnel files including creating files, filing documents, and archiving termed personnel files.Create and maintain all necessary files, binders, and clerical functions of the human resources department.Conduct reference checks, phone interviews, scheduling of interviews, and resume searches with perspective candidates.Assist with onboarding of new hires to include submitting background checks, scheduling pre-employment drug screens and physicals, and collecting and maintaining new hire paperwork.Support the HR department by preparing for various HR audits and maintaining proper posting of all State and Federal Labor and Safety publications.Assist with creating, maintaining and uploading all HR forms.Aid in implementation and following of HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality with regard to employment related issues and financial data.Competency StatementsTakes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks.Willingness to assist in all HR functional areas within a fast-paced, technically focused environment.Must be results-oriented and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous situations.Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables.Must be able to work with confidential data, which if disclosed, might have significant internal and external impact on the organization.Required Education and ExperienceEducation: High School DiplomaExperience: 2 years in an office environmentComputer Skills: Entry level skill in Microsoft OfficePreferred Education and ExperienceEducation: workings towards a degree in Business or Human Resources Management.Experience: 2 years in an HR environmentWork Authorization/Security ClearanceEmployee must be a US citizen and not hold dual citizenship with another country.
