Avanade Inc. HR Generalist in Oslo, Norway
The Business Human Resources (HR) team supports Avanade’s human capital programs by communicating and supporting global plans and designing and delivering local plans. It is responsible for local and regional human resources processes and responding to employee questions around topics such as career, compensation, employee relations and employee integration.
As a Senior Consultant, Business HR, you’ll support the effective rhythm of business for our people and HR operations matters. You will participate in HR planning, calendar, budget management and metrics, as well as coordinate compliance and audit activities as needed. Additionally, you will drive effective communications across HR, which supports our collaboration and connectedness as a function.
Day-to-day, you will:
Support the organization in the key HR processes and build a HR year calendar (performance management, pay review, employee engagement, retention programs)
Coordinate and drive our graduate programs with schools and universities
Support in recruiting and building candidate pipeline
Support our organization in the performance process
On- and off-boarding
Be secretary for our health and safety committee
Own the diversity agenda and drive initiatives and programs
Social media and communication both internal and external
Support our leaders in follow-up on long term sick leave and performance issues/difficult conversations
Ensures compliance with local law, GDPR and Avanade policies and procedures
Guide leadership through difficult personnel situations
You have a keen eye for detail and great communication skills. You like tackling and understanding complex regulations and translating them into language business leaders can understand. You understand the fundamental business value of people, and are passionate about helping our talent reach its potential. . You enjoy juggling many different tasks both strategic to more operational. We would like you to have some experience from recruiting in addition to HR.
Your background and skills likely include:
Experience working across different HR disciplines in an international environment
Ability to connect and build strong working relationships on a global scale
Superior interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of a complex organization
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines on short time frames and under pressure
Experience working within a hierarchy and corporate multinational matrix, both live and virtually across time zones
You likely have five or more years of increasingly diverse or complex HR or process and consulting experience in an international environment, with two or more years interacting with senior leaders. Previous experience with Accenture business units a plus. Your education likely includes a Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business management or a related field.
