Growing company is currently expanding their Human Resources Department and hiring a Human Resources Generalist. This is a full time position with office hours Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The company provides full benefits that include medical, dental, vision, a matching 401k, paid time off, paid holidays, paid life insurance and a long term life and disability plan. The starting pay is up to $50,000, depending on experience.

The company employs over 50 full time employees. This is a new role within the company. The ideal applicant will have a degree in Human Resources Management along with several years of experience. The company is seeking a mature individual who is reliable, friendly and a true team player. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company and be directly involved with creating policy and procedure as the company expands. You will assist the Human Resources Director in all department related tasks. This position is best suited for individuals who enjoy learning and are very serious about their career. We will consider individuals with their MBA that lack hands on experience.

The HR Generalist will assist with creating and posting internal job openings. Post online job descriptions using CareerBuilder, Indeed, Craigslist and other job boards. Review resumes, conduct phone interviews and coordinate formal interviews with department managers. Compliance applications, create employee records, process background checks (criminal, drug, credit) as well as manage I-9 forms. This role will also sit in on non-management performance reviews, disciplinary actions, document warnings, unemployment hearings, etc.

Requirements 1+ year of Human Resources experience Mature, reliable and trustworthy 4 year degree Intermediate computer skills Organized and efficient Friendly, outgoing with a “can do” attitude
