Summary This position administers human resources programs, policies, procedures and projects. Responsible for the following functional areas: employee safety and health program, careLearning, worker's compensation, disability accommodation, family medical leave act, special projects, human resources regulatory compliance, and other human resources programs, projects, and activities. Assist and support the Human Resources Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in the research, development, implementation, monitoring and day-to-day administration of human resources programs, projects, policies and procedures within the context of Human Resources programs, activities and policies, federal, state and local laws and regulations. Conduct research and make recommendation to supervisor. Administer and coordinate the employee safety and health program which include updating and maintaining policies and procedures, accident prevention program, facilitating the safety and health committee; developing, coordinating, conducting and/or evaluating employee training; track employee incident reporting, identify trends, and develop corrective measures. Coordinate emergency evacuations, fire drills and ensure ICHS is in compliance with OSHA and WISHA regulations and requirements. Administer and serve as resource for the organization's careLearning online healthcare safety and compliance training program. Ensure compliance with Family Medical Leave Act, American with Disabilities Act, and Workers' Compensation. Coordinate contact and correspondence with medical provider, employee, supervisor, L&I claims manager, and other individuals to ensure reasonable accommodation and other concerns and issues are resolved. Collaborate with the Infection Prevention and Control Administrator to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to the infection prevention and control program. Monitor employee health records. Collaborate with the Quality Improvement Coordinator to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to patient safety. Attend the Quality Improvement Committee meetings. Participate in developing, implementing, monitoring and auditing human resources programs and activities. Research, develop, conduct and/or coordinate and evaluate management and employee training in assigned areas of responsibilities. Provide overall assistance and assigned research support to human resources and employee safety policies and programs. Provide technical information and assistance to departments concerning policies and human resources transactions. Draft memos, letters and reports in a concise and clear manner. Perform administrative duties for supervisor including scheduling meetings, arranging and coordinating webinar trainings and teleconferences. Prepare a variety of reports using spreadsheet and graphic software; compile employee statistics in response to requests and inquiries. Assist HR team in special projects. Monitor and perform self-audits in assigned areas of responsibilities. Participate in the development and implementation of goals, work plans, performance measures and continuous improvement of service delivery to assist in attaining the program, department and/or organization's initiatives, goals and strategies, and mission through a spirit of service, teamwork and respect.
