JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB PURPOSE: The Human Resource Business Partner partners with our manufacturing and operations organization to proactively manage and deliver human resources strategies, processes and services and executing our people initiatives and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. KEY CUSTOMERS: Director, Manufacturing Operations Managers & Supervisors All Employees ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Partner with the manufacturing and operations organization to understand their business goals and align people initiatives to ensure success and drive continual improvements, productivity and development of our people within the organization. Cultivate and sustain key relationships with Managers and Supervisors to be in position to proactively identify human resource implications and elevate or influence accordingly. Drive strategy and partner with the team to deliver results by providing expertise, guidance, and tactical execution in the areas of talent acquisition, performance, career development, succession planning, compensation, employee relations, and employee retention and engagement. Key partner in the Human Resources organization to share feedback, represent the manufacturing and operations organization in Human Resource initiatives development, and partner in the development of key organizational initiatives. Operationalize key people initiatives from the HR Centers of Excellence - working closely with Human Resources team members to ensure alignment and consistent application of policy and practice and appropriate application and configuration for our clients. Leverage human resource data to understand trends to devise solutions. Bring our value of transparent communication to life by partnering with leaders and Consult with managers, supervisors, and employees on people related topics. Coordinate the annual HR processes including merit review, performance, and succession. Lead / participate in various business projects related to operational excellence and external development. Develop and engage in our community outreach programs, building our commitment to our community and importance of building our next generation (JOA Apprenticeship and Youth Apprenticeship programs). Engage key partners in initiative development and escalate where needed. OCCASIONAL DUTIES: Assist Human Resources team on special projects or work to meet important business deadlines. Joa, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or equivalent years of experience. 3+ years of human resources experience, with demonstrated career development progression. Demonstrated success in driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs. Exceptional judgement and able to make decisions leveraging current policies and practices - engaging leadership as necessary. Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment. The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload, prioritize appropriately, and demonstrated willingness to "roll up your sleeves". Demonstrated ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions. Strong customer service focus. Commitment to proactive HR - passion for building innovative HR solutions and process improvement. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including exceptional communication skills. Previous experience in human resource information system. Required a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
